Learn a new technique and go home with an almost finished new table runner (or wall hanging, quilt block, pillowcase …). In this class students learn how to use the simple raw-edge appliqué technique by Shannon Brinkley. We will be using this free pumpkin templates and have a blast choosing beautiful fabric, that, once collaged together, will create a really striking and modern look. In these samples, Nico used old denims as the background. This fun, easy to pick up process works well for absolut beginners and advanced quilters alike! Students will go home with an (almost) completed appliqué piece and the knowledge how to finish at home with ease.
